Is the Museum involved in a lawsuit?

In June 2022, the FBI removed the exhibition entitled Heroes & Monsters from the OMA, as it was discovered that the paintings featured in the exhibit were fraudulent. In response, the Museum, among other steps taken, filed a lawsuit against the actors who perpetuated this fraud against OMA and the public. A copy of this lawsuit, which tells the story uncovered by OMA to date, and includes over 300 pages of documentary evidence which support the Museum’s claims, is available for download here.  Due to ongoing litigation, OMA cannot provide any additional information or comments related to the lawsuit.
