Come to the experts – the museum – to learn the nuances of care and acquisition of fine art accoutrements for the home or office. Experts will discuss the care of wood, textiles and porcelain with special emphasis on the Florida climate. Conservation of exterior sculpture and historic preservation will also be part of the dialogue. Participants will also learn the fine points of collecting ethnographic treasures. To round out the course, participants will also hear how to spot treasures in estates sales! |
