Education

Adults

At the OMA, we believe art education is a lifelong journey and we offer a variety of engaging learning opportunities for adults of all ages. From guided tours, gallery talks, lectures and accredited courses to up-close examinations, in-depth discussions and art outreach, we have a wealth of information and resources to share for those who are interested....

Youth & Family

Help your kids broaden their horizons by enrolling them in one of our camps. These popular classes offer something for every budding artist! Giving children a strong base within the arts teaches practical skills, self-discipline, confidence, creativity and critical thinking and provide an outlet for artistic expression. They'll be having so much fun, they won't even notice all of the other positive effects. Plus, you'll absolutely adore the "masterpieces" they'll bring home to you from camp. Kids are IN here! See the toolbar on the right for upcoming sessions and more information....

Teachers

Since education plays such an important role in developing, expanding and improving the understanding and appreciation of art in our community and our society as a whole, we wholeheartedly support educators and educational institutions. Available resources include state approved lesson plans, classroom visual aids and professional development workshops, as well as school-sanctioned class learning trips. See the toolbar on the right for more information....

Artists

As an art museum, a major part of our existence is to showcase the beautiful labors of gifted artists. But equally important is our commitment to helping artists grow both personally and professionally. Programs such as 1st Thursdays and Florida Artist of the Month give artists the opportunity to gain exposure by reaching a wider audience of gallery owners, collectors and art enthusiasts....
