From the woolly endurance of banthas crossing desert worlds to the towering might of rancors, the loyal tauntauns of Hoth, and the strange ecosystems hinted at by creatures like the sarlacc or the enigmatic loth-wolves, the Star Wars saga is filled with life that feels as though it could have evolved somewhere beyond our own planet. Participants will observe real-world animals and plants as inspiration while translating that knowledge into expressive studies that celebrate the believability and wonder of these cinematic creatures.
