Programs for Students in Grades 1-6

Explore works of art from the OMA’s collections and dive into projects that let your creativity shine!

Full-day classes are from 9am-4pm. Bring a lunch, a drink and a towel for a picnic. Please wear closed toe shoes and dress for mess!

November 24: Woven Wonders
Learn basic weaving techniques to make a woven creation that incorporates yarn, fabric and natural materials. Create a pouch, a tapestry, or a woven wonder of your own design.

November 25: Amazing Altered Books
Make your own journal from a variety of materials, including discarded books, unusual papers, beads, buttons and other unexpected materials.
