Global Lens 2009

Global Lens 2009, which premiered at the MOMA in January, can now be seen at the OMA. Accomplished, entertaining, and thought-provoking, this unique film series is a dynamic collection of ten award-winning feature films from Argentina, Brazil, China, Ecuador, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, Morocco and Mozambique. Each film is selected for its authentic voice, strong cinematics and unique cultural perspective. Global Lens 2009, supported by The Global Film Initiative (GFI), is set to encourage filmmaking in countries with developing film communities and promote cross-cultural understanding through the universal language of cinema. Subtitles
All films originating in foreign languages are shown with English subtitles, unless otherwise noted.

Ratings
Many of the films are not rated and may be inappropriate for younger viewers. For children ages 17 and younger, adult supervision is recommended.

Membership
Become a Member and enjoy discounts on tickets to the Global Lens Film series with early seating at screenings.

Seating
OMA Members get priority seating 30 minutes prior to the start of each film. Standard general admission seating begins 15 minutes prior to the film.

Film admission tickets can be purchased in person or online (below).
All tickets will include general admission into the galleries.

General Admission: $12.00
$1 discount for seniors (65+), student with I.D., and military
Children (4-17): $8.00
Children (3 and under): Free, but ticket required
Members: $7.00
