The volunteer department needs support for such programs as 1st Thursdays, Art Camp, Festival of Trees, Museum Shop and general office and library assistance. Volunteers Needed: Summer Art Camp Studio Assistants
Date and Time: Volunteers needed the weeks of June 11 through August 17, 2012, from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Week-long commitments.
Description: Volunteers will serve as studio assistants aiding studio instructor, working with students, preparing art materials [including cleaning brushes] and studio areas, and performing other duties, as required, for art camp sessions. Interested volunteers should be friendly, helpful, enjoy working with students in grades 1 through 9 in a studio environment and be able to respond to various studio needs. Physical activity involved. Must be 16 years of age to apply. Background check required.
Training: Orientation will be provided upon arrival.
