The OMA’s Council of 101 Corporate Lease Program, initiated in 1974, leases fine art prints from the Contemporary American Graphics Collection to Central Florida businesses on a biennial basis.
Leasing has many benefits. While businesses obtain quality art at a fraction of the cost of purchasing their own, the lease fees are used to purchase prints each year, helping to build the OMA’s Contemporary American Graphics Collection.
In addition, by placing art in the community, businesses help the collection serve as an outreach program to educate and familiarize the Central Florida community with America’s leading contemporary artists and the OMA.
The lease fees of the matted and framed prints range from $300 to $800 per year and include insurance, delivery and installation in the company’s office. After the 23-month leasing period, the works are collected and returned to the OMA where the entire collection is on display before being leased to businesses for the next two years. Prints may be leased on a pro-rated basis any time during the year for a minimum of three months.
