The Wild Path: Connecting the Florida We Don’t See presents 70 works by National Geographic conservation photographer Carlton Ward Jr., focused on wild Florida.

Sophie Blackall is a Brooklyn-based Australian artist. She has illustrated over fifty books for children, including the New York Times best-selling Ivy and Bean series, and has twice received the Randolph Caldecott Medal, in 2016 for Finding Winnie and in 2019 for Hello Lighthouse.

Florida has long been a place of escape, and the souvenirs visitors took home during its mid-century heyday—hotel ashtrays, rubber alligators, roadside attraction brochures—embodied memories of carefree days in the Sunshine State.
